Description
An old lady lives all by herself but constantly complains that her house is a “squash and a squeeze”. She asks a wise old man for advice. He instructs her to take in a series of noisy, chaotic farmyard animals, including a hen, a goat, a pig, and a cow. After her house becomes completely packed, he tells her to let them all out again, leading her to realize that her house is actually quite large and spacious after all. It is a humorous story about changing one’s perspective and showing gratitude.
