The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch (Age 3-6)

Description

Every day, the dedicated lighthouse keeper Mr. Grinling rows out to his clifftop lighthouse to clean and polish the beacon light. His wife, Mrs. Grinling, packs him a truly delicious, gourmet lunch and sends it down a long wire cable extending from their cottage to the tower. The daily routine is hilariously disrupted when a flock of greedy, conniving seagulls discovers the cable car and begins scavenging Mr. Grinling’s treats. The Grinlings must brainstorm a series of increasingly clever and inventive food traps to outsmart the birds and save his midday meal.
